Joaquin Camp

Shown on a 1914 Fresno County Map as being on today's Arroyo Leona near Cantua Creek. Located northeast of the Del Mexico Mine, this is the site of Bedae Castro's 1893 homestead. Richard E. McKenna had a homestead nearby in 1902. This site is on private land owned by Philip Martin. There were several old peach trees left here from the old homestead.
