Joaquin Rocks

Known in the 1850s as Las Tres Piedras, named San Joaquin Rocks on a 1914 map of Fresno County. U.S. Board of Geographic Names rejected the name "Tres Piedras" for the feature – Joaquin Rocks has three prominent outcrops. Named on Joaquin Rocks 7.5' quadrangle.
