Jose

Name of a National Geodetic Survey station mark on top of rock outcropping between Joaquin Rocks and Black Mountain, at about N36° 17.919'; W120° 26.152'. This station mark is named on Joaquin Rocks 7.5' quadrangle. This rock outcropping is known locally as Inspiration Point. The name "Jose" is derived from Jose Urrutia who ran sheep in the late 1800s.
